Over the festive period, laughter and smiles filled our partner schools in Kenya and Ghana, as Christmas meals were handed out and balloons were blown up for class parties. We can’t thank our volunteers, donors and supporters enough, for once again stepping up and making this possible by kindly donating to our Christmas Meal Appeal.
With the excitement of Christmas building here in the UK and at our partner schools in Africa, our Christmas Meal Appeal returned for another year. With this being one of our most established and important campaigns, it comes at a time of year when we want to help bring comfort and take away worry, spreading a little bit of joy to children who really need it.
In the current climate, we are more grateful than ever for your donations and were blown away by the support we received from individuals, businesses, rotary clubs and schools. Thank you to every single person who really got behind African Adventures Foundation to give thousands of children at our partner schools in Africa a special gift at Christmas. With just 50p funding a meal for a child, every person impacted lives through their gift.
Our appeal resulted in every child receiving a Christmas meal and party across many of our partner schools in Ghana and Kenya. This meant a great deal to the children and staff who attend these schools, many of whom would not have been able to celebrate in any way without your generous donations.
