Take your group on the trip of a lifetime and make a lasting impact at one of Futurestars' partner schools in Ghana.
Futurestars is a UK and Ghanaian registered charity that delivers an education-through-sports programme in six schools in Ghana (Accra and Tema) and one in Lomé, Togo.
Through volunteering, your group can help their partner schools improve the quality of education and extend their outreach by providing vital support with teaching, sports coaching and building work.
African Adventures is delighted to partner with Futurestars as their official volunteer partner, for their volunteer groups. We’ll organise your group’s trip package and deliver the in-county experience at Futurestars’ partner schools. Our trip packages include everything you need to travel, and our friendly team will take care of all your trip admin, ensuring that you feel supported from start to finish.

Why Volunteer With Us

From the bustle of Accra to the stunning beaches and amazing wildlife, Ghana is a wonderful place to visit to make a positive and sustainable impact. By volunteering at one of Futurestars partner schools, you will not only be making a difference to the lives of children in Ghana but your group will return home as conscientious global citizens, with new skills to inspire others.
The schools are in desperate need of funding and volunteer support, and this is where you can help. There are two volunteer roles to choose from, teaching & sports coaching or building & renovation.
From helping to launch your trip to your safe return home, we'll look after you from start to finish.
Travel Safely
We’ve organised thousands of group trips to Africa over the past 12 years, so you’ll be in good hands.
No two trips are the same
We’ll work with you to create an experience which is built around your group, whilst ensuring your trip helps Futurestars' partner schools. We are experienced in organiseing unique trips for schools, colleges, scouts & guides, sports trusts, charities and corporate businesses.
Make an Impact
After safety, the most important part of your trip is the work you do at your partner school, and this is central to how we plan your trip.
Build Long-Term Relationships
Long-term sustainable development doesn’t happen overnight. Many of our groups want to build something long lasting, and we'll lay the foundations to help make this happen.

About Ghana
Ghana is a vibrant, safe country with a proud African heritage. It is about the same size as the UK and has a population of 31 million people. Ghana was one of the world’s fastest-growing economies only a few years ago. The trip will take place in either Accra, Ghana’s capital city, or Tema, a port city, just a few miles east. Both epitomise modern-day Africa, with growing pockets of wealth but they remain beset by large amounts of extreme poverty.
