Company Team Challenges

Our company team challenges offer your business the opportunity to come together as a team and share a unique volunteering experience in Africa.

There are so many reasons for your company to volunteer in Africa. Our trips are a great staff motivator and a terrific way to reward and retain key staff members. Our trips can even be used as a unique employee of the month programme, whereby one place is offered monthly as a reward, for the duration of a year.

Whatever the reason for taking your company on one of our team challenges, we offer an unparalleled insight into African life. Your group will experience new cultures, impact lives and be challenged as a team. Volunteering with co-workers is also an incredible way to find yourselves problem solving and working towards common project goals in a challenging environment. The result is that your team will form strong bonds and develop an incredible work ethic during their time spent volunteering.

Working with us is a great way to partner your organisation with African Adventures Foundation and help us to support projects through a long-term charitable partnership.

Please explore our various trip options and be sure to get in touch.

African Adventures Alex Maina

“My wife and I gave up a teaching post to establish The Walk Centre in April 2005, having decided to help children who live on the rubbish dump in Hilton Slum, Nakuru. We were shocked to see children scavenging on a dump just metres from our home and were determined to do something to help. I met Dan in 2006 and since then we have worked together to bring more and more volunteers to help. Now that we have been able to expand to help other centres, we are proud to see the children that started at The Walk Centre, attending high school and beginning to embark on their adult lives.”

Alex Maina - East Africa Director at African Adventures

“Thank you for the most amazing and fulfilling experience of my life, the best thing I have ever done. I cannot wait to return to Kenya this November to see the staff and children at The Walk Centre. Here’s to many more years of amazing work!”

Lori Gallagher - Volunteer

“As soon as we spoke with African Adventures we both knew it was something we wanted to be involved with. We really believe in the work they are doing and wanted to make the most of our opportunity by raising as much as possible.”
