Just one final newsletter to say a big THANK YOU to you, our incredible volunteers, for the most successful year at African Adventures to date!
This year, particularly in Kenya, we have seen an ever-increasing need for new classrooms, as project schools have expanded in student numbers and our volunteers have worked very hard to bring plans to fruition. In Ghana and Zanzibar, school classrooms that were in desperate need of repair have been renovated, bringing them new life.
All of the work we have achieved this year is but the stepping stone for an even bigger commitment to our partner projects in 2016.
Christmas meal appeal
The African Adventures Foundation’s Christmas Meal Appeal is in full swing and we are delighted to have received £2,256.75 in donations so far! We will be running the appeal throughout December so you still have 2 weeks to help support this great cause. Share with friends and family and help make Christmas extra special for the children at our partner projects in Africa.
A huge thank you to Oakwood Spitfires and their supporters for raising a tremendous £750 for the African Adventures Foundation’s Christmas Meal Appeal!
On Saturday 5th December, the under-7 footballers took part in their own penalty shoot-out, which was not only lots of fun but also provided the single largest donation to our Christmas Meal Appeal to date.

“I have now travelled with African Adventures 5 times and I am planning my 6th trip for July 2016. I cannot recommend this organisation enough for the experience they provide. The projects they work with are inspirational and the way they work ensures that they are led by the projects’ needs and the communities they service, keeping the experience pure.” Lisa Humphries, Chichester College.
