A little about your partner school...
Chaddy Mission School was set up in 2009 by Pastor Geoffrey Mbugua in Nakuru, Kenya to provide a free education and daily meal to disadvantaged children from the local area.
Without community-run projects such as Chaddy Mission, it is unlikely that these children would receive an education at all, due to the costs of items such as uniforms, desks and textbooks that come with attending a government-run school.
Today, the school provides a free education and two meals a day to around 300 children between the ages of three and 16.
Geoffrey has also introduced a number of micro-finance initiatives, which help fund the running of the school. The income generated from these initiatives relieves the pressure of having to source funds elsewhere.

FUNDRAISING IDEAS
Whilst fundraising for your partner school is by no means a compulsory part of your School Partnership, any amount your school raises will help Chaddy Mission School reach their goals sooner.
Below, you’ll find three simple ideas that other partner schools have used to fundraise – or feel free to come up with your own! Feel free to get in touch if you need any additional resources.
Non-Uniform Day
Ask students to donate £2 in return for wearing non-uniform to school, and you'll quickly see the pounds add up!
Cycle to Kenya
Get a team together to cycle the distance to your partner school, and ask people to sponsor your efforts.
Hold a Kenya Day
Hold a Kenya day at your school! Sell Kenyan food, auction off raffle prizes, or put on a cultural performance.
