Book with Confidence
Start planning for next year, and book with confidence.
Travel restrictions are easing, and the Department for Education has confirmed that schools and colleges can now start planning their 2022 trips.
We’re making it easier than ever to plan a new trip, and we are pleased to announce our new ‘Book With Confidence’ promise, which gives our groups extra flexibility in case things change.
For bookings made before 31 December 2021, change your trip dates for free, except for any airline charges.
Full Cash Refunds
If African Adventures cancels your trip, receive a full cash refund. No deductions.
Our insurance provides comprehensive cover for travel complications relating to coronavirus.
All African Adventures’ trips are financially secured through the ATOL scheme.
Plan your trip of a lifetime with extra flexibility.
Our Flexible booking Policy
For bookings made before 31 December 2021, to travel before 31 August 2022, groups can postpone their trip dates for free up until 10 weeks prior to departure, minus any costs charged by the airline to cancel and/or rebook your flight.
The decision to postpone a trip can only be made by the group leaders or travelling organisation.
Individual volunteers can only postpone their place if their group has another trip booked with African Adventures, or if they are eligible for another trip organised by us. This decision is at African Adventures’ discretion.
Travel insurance is included with all our trips, and the policy we provide includes cover for medical costs associated with Coronavirus, or suspected Coronavirus, whilst abroad. It also provides cover in the event of a volunteer being diagnosed with Coronavirus, and therefore restricted from travel, up to 14 days prior to departure, or denied boarding at the airport following a positive test result. In addition, our policy includes cancellation cover for volunteers who have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Finally, cover is also provided in the event of a mandatory evacuation from your travel destination due to COVID-19.
The policy does not include cancellation cover if your personal circumstances change, or you simply decide you no longer want to travel, and you should seek additional cover if you would like this to be an insured option.
If African Adventures cancels, or has to make any significant change to a volunteer’s trip, we will provide a full cash refund.
In this event, whilst we will not pay any compensation, we will not make any deductions.
If a volunteer cancels their trip, then they will be subject to our standard cancellation policy, which can be viewed in our terms and conditions.
All trips organised by African Adventures are ATOL protected and any monies paid to us are secure.
In the event of African Adventures’ insolvency, any monies paid to us by you would be refunded to you by the CAA. If you are abroad, then you will be repatriated at no cost.
